pCloud: Cloud Data Storage – Cloud Hosting

pCloud is an easy-to-use, Cloud data storage and Cloud hosting service founded in Switzerland in 2013. The company is young, fresh, and growing fast, having accumulated over four million users so far.

A few things that set pCloud apart are the facts that is doesn’t take up any space on your computer, and that its use of private encryption, which is an add on, makes it safer than the average. pCloud has a very modern and user-friendly interface, and is very cost effective.

It is very simple to store and share files on pCLoud. You can share files with anyone, even if they are not using pCloud. Your file recovery will be very fast, and you can even upgrade to make it faster than that. The only downside is that there isn’t really a way to effectively collaborate with others in real time.

pCloud has no file size limits, as well as built in audio and video players. This way you can stream media from inside pCloud without having to use another program. pCloud has applications for Windows, Mac, and Linux, with downloadable mobile apps for iOS and Android.

Things to consider:

How tech literate are you?

What’s more important to you: unlimited space or the ability to use several devices with the same account?

Would you prefer a super simple user experience, or a bunch of extra features for your business?

If security, speed, space, and simplicity are your main priorities, and collaboration is not, then pCloud may be the best choice for you. If you want more special working and business features, like collaboration, check out our overviews of Zoolz and IDrive.

Average rating for pCLoud is 4.5 out of 5.
